Police have issued a warning against the illegal, dangerous habit of firing guns into the air to mark the New Year.

A man accused of shooting celebratory gunshots into the sky in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Pak Chong district on the New Year’s Eve, in an action that resulted in a viral video clip on social media drawing a great deal of online criticism, surrendered to police yesterday morning.
